Family Camping and Haunted Hayride
Pack 3048  |  Camp Butler & Camp Manatoc | October 20th - 22nd

Tiger Cubs, Wolf Cubs, Bear Cubs, Webelos Scouts, and Arrow Scouts may Campout all weekend.
  • Tiger Cubs must have a 1-to-1 ratio for Guardian to Scout according to Boy Scouts of America Guidelines.
  • Wolf and Bear Cubs who have never camped before should have a guardian with them.
  • Webelos and Arrow Scouts may camp on their own if they have camped before.
  • Lions are not permitted to camp according to Boy Scouts of America Guidelines.
  • All Scouts must have their own transportation to and from camp.
Lion Cubs are invited to attend Saturday for lunch and dinner, followed by a trip to Camp Butler for the Haunted Hayride.

Itinerary:
  • Arrive at Camp Manatoc Friday, October 20th after 5:00 pm.
  • Set up camp with campfire and cracker barrel Friday Night.
  • Saturday Morning breakfast and Den Activities.
  • Lions will arrive Saturday and participate in their own Den Activities.
  • After Lunch there will be more Den Activities with a Rain Gutter Regatta and prizes.
  • After Dinner we will hike to Camp Butler for the Haunted Hayride.
  • Lions will depart camp after Hayride.
  • Everyone who stays through the night Saturday will have breakfast and depart camp by 10:00 am on Sunday, October 22nd.
We do have access to three cabins which can hold 8-12 individuals each.  Ladies will be in one cabin.  The other two will be first come first available beginning with the youngest scouts.  Camp site locations are available too.  We will only have access to latrines while at camp (no bath houses).

 
Parent Action Items
  • Registration forms will be available by September 18th.
  • All those attending (including guardians and siblings) must have a medical form on file before arriving at camp.
  • Payments and Registration forms are due by October 16th.
